WRC Sardaigne – Neuville s’impose au shakedown


Après un premier run où Ogier s’est montré le plus rapide, c’est au final Neuville qui remporte le shakedown du rallye WRC Italie Sardaigne 2024 situé à Ittiri et long de 2,08kms, devant Ogier et Sordo. Dans la catégorie WRC-2 au volant de sa Skoda Fabia Rally2, Loubet réalise quant à lui le meilleur temps.

Oliver Solberg rejoint Petter à l’ERC de Suède


Ce ne sera pas un mais deux Solberg qui seront au départ de la troisième épreuve du championnat d’Europe des rallyes en Suède du 13 au 15 juin prochain, au Royal Rally of Scandinavia disputé sur la terre.

Après la confirmation du retour officiel de Petter Solberg il y a une semaine pile pour l’ERC en Suède au volant de sa VW Polo R5, Oliver confirme également aujourd’hui sa participation avec la Skoda Fabia Rally2. Un rallye qu’il avait d’ailleurs remporté la saison passée avec la VW Polo R5 devant Paddon et Sesks.

A noter le forfait d’Oliver Solberg cette semaine au rallye WRC de Sardaigne pour raisons médicales (toutefois il n’avait pas sélectionné cette manche pour scorer au championnat WRC-2).

Citroën continue à faire évoluer sa C3 Rally2


Installée en tête du championnat WRC-2 avec Yohan Rossel, l’équipe Citroën Racing ne cesse de travailler sur sa C3 Rally2 pour continuer à la faire évoluer et à tenir face à ses différents adversaires de la catégorie.

Plusieurs évolutions ont d’ores et déjà été installées depuis la Croatie, ce qui a permis à Gryazin l’autre pilote officiel de la marque de remporter cette épreuve avec cerise sur le gâteau le doublé avec Rossel.

Loeb en Guadeloupe avec la Skoda Fabia Rally2


Après avoir roulé l’an passé aux Açores sur la terre, Sébastien Loeb qui n’a participé à aucun rallye cette année, va ressortir la Skoda Fabia Rally2 du 7 au 9 juin prochain en Guadeloupe !

En effet le nonuple Champion WRC, avec sa compagne Laurène Godey et encadré par le Team Sarrazin Motorsport, va participer au Rallye National des Grands-Fonds composé de dix-sept spéciales (126,10kms) sur asphalte près de Saint-Anne au nord est de l’île.

Le Chili présente son parcours WRC 2024


Après une première édition en 2019 puis deux autres annulées en 2020 et 2021, le Chili absent en 2022 et de retour l’année dernière, va se dérouler de nouveau cette saison fin septembre dans la région de Concepción.

Ce sont seize spéciales sur terre avec quelques nouveautés au programme qui attendent les pilotes du championnat du monde des rallyes pour un total de 307,48kms lors de cette onzième épreuve du calendrier 2024.

Lancia de retour en rallye avec une Ypsilon Rally4 HF


Après plusieurs rumeurs c’est maintenant officiel ! Lancia via un communiqué (lire ici) du groupe Stellantis a confirmé aujourd’hui son retour à la compétition rallye avec le modèle Ypsilon.

La Lancia Ypsilon HF civile full électrique sera commercialisée en mai 2025, puis suivie d’une version Rally4 (thermique) qui marquera le retour de la marque dans la compétition automobile. Cette auto sera dotée d’un moteur trois cylindres turbocompressé de 1,2L à quatre soupapes par cylindres développant 212cv.

Lancia possède le plus gros palmarès en WRC avec dix titres de Champion constructeurs (de 1974 à 1976, 1983, et 1987 à 1992) obtenus avec les modèles Fulvia, Stratos et Delta.
